Today is my 10th day of bleeding from a ruptured ovarian cyst. 3 days into the pain and bleeding I went to the hospital and the Dr. sent me home and said I am bleeding because my cyst ruptured and gave me Vicodin to help with the pain. He didn’t tell me what else to watch out for or if I should come back. I am not bleeding severely every day. I am only bleeding about 2 pads a day. But the pain is still there, and the bleeding isn’t stopping. My period had just ended a week before this started. Sometimes the pain gets so bad it will shoot through my back and keep me from walking. Other times its not so bad. I don’t have much energy and I feel somewhat spacey. But I don’t feel deathly ill yet. Any suggestions?

On Monday I went and had an ultrasound for some abdominal pain and heavy bleeding. I was informed by my physician that I have a ruptured ovarian cyst on my left side, and a 3cm cyst on the right. All week long I have been in intense pain, to the point it makes me sick, but I was told that would be expected since the cyst is still collapsing from the rupture. However…I was due for my period this past Weds. I am ALWAYS on time, and now I am concerned. I took a pregnancy test last night and it came back negative. What should I do? Please…no crazy answers or ridiculous statements…if you haven’t been through this don’t bother responding. It’s stressful enough as it is.
